Welcome to the Women's Community of the Democratic Party of Oregon!

Rarely have we had the opportunities to be on the cutting edge of political change as we do today.

Women represent over 50% of the voting base in America and in Oregon. Women make reasoned, cautious decisions on who and what to support when they cast their ballots. We know that women base those decisions on the health of their families, the economic security of their households, the safety of their neighborhoods, their community and the world. We also know that when women vote communities win! If we can make it easier for women to understand the issues before them progressive issues that make our state a better place to live.

The Democratic Women's Caucus is dedicated to empowering women to be better leaders and to speak out and make a difference in the future of our state and our country.

Welcome to the road to change, this is the road of history. The journey will not always be easy but we will always be together. Listen carefully, the steps you hear are those who marched before us and those coming from behind. Welcome, Sisters to the movement for a better tomorrow.
