Commissioner Maui Meyer

Maui Meyer lives in, and represents the City of Hood River on the County Commission.  Maui moved to Hood River in 1991 after graduating college, where he met his wife Janellen.  Married since 1997, they have three children.  Maui has been active in community life during his time in Hood River, helping start the Hood River Downtown Association, among other pursuits.  An avowed entrepreneur, Maui spends his non-commission time running a community development company based upon the precepts of the sustainable business model.  You can find him most days in downtown Hood River, or on the water, when he is not trying to keep up with his children.
