Councilor Joe Loomis

Joe Loomis was born in Milwaukie and has been a resident for the past 25 years. Joe’s primary involvement in the community for 20 of those years has been through building and supporting youth athletic programs. He served on the City’s Park and Recreation Board, served on the North Clackamas School District’s Extended Budget Committee and founded Kids First, a local organization promoting the preservation of youth athletic opportunities in Milwaukie

Joe is currently employed by the North Clackamas Parks and Recreation District as a Recreation Supervisor.
Joe was appointed to fill Brian Newman’s term in March of 2003 after Brian was elected to Metro’s Council. Joe was then elected in 2004 and his term expires in December of 2012.
