Commissioner Bradley Winters

 

Commissioner Winters was born and raised in Lakeview, Oregon and is a 1979 Lakeview High School Graduate.  Commissioner Winters and his wife Tanya have three grown children and five grandchildren.  In his off time, Brad enjoys all that Lake County has to offer including hunting, fishing and spending time with family and friends.  
 
Commissioner Winters’ background includes ten years in the timber industry, six years with the Lake County Road Department and is currently a small business owner.  
 
Since being elected to office, Commissioner Winters has served as chair for the Lake County Fair Board (six years) and as Chamber President.  Commissioner Winters was also instrumental in negotiating the contract for the Lake County Railroad. 
 
Currently, Commissioner Winters serves as the Chair for the South Central Area Committee on Transportation, Vice Chair South Central Oregon Economic Development District, Vice Chair Lake County Board of Commissioners and the Vice Chair OSU Extension. 
 
As Commissioner, Mr. Winters received the following:  Junior First Citizen (2009), Certificate of Appreciation from the Chamber of Commerce, Certificate of Appreciation from the Department of Corrections, completed the Ford Institute Leadership Program and the Certificate of Appreciation Warner Valley First Responders.
