Last night in Washington County the Democratic Party held a nominating convention to fill the vacancy in House District 30. Doug Ainge won the nomination and now will continue on as the nominee for HD 30

“We wish David Edwards and his family the best, I am excited to campaign for Doug Ainge, who has been a teacher in the community for over 30 years and has close ties to his district,” said Meredith Wood Smith, Chair of the Democratic Party of Oregon. “Doug Ainge understands the issues and struggles that affect his neighbors and will bring those considerations to the Legislature. I look forward to the election of Doug Ainge this November”
